Hi Everyone,
I am Ken Thomas. I have lots of interests. I love being outdoors and have spent much of my time out there. I love painting with oil and working with wood. I love the Church, the Bride of Christ, and I am writing this blog with the sole purpose of sharing my faith in Jesus Christ. I have been compelled to literally drop everything else and follow Jesus in doing this. I will be publishing my testimony here by various means writing, audio, and video. It is a challenging project but my hope is that you will find words that lead you to Jesus Christ here and nothing else.
I was raised in the Christian faith as a kid but that did not make me a follower of Jesus or even a true believer. As a young man though in a very remote place I learned to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to me, and I listened. I have been delivered from a life of bitterness and addiction and brought into the Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy. The Kingdom of Heaven.
Over the years I have written letters to the Church just to express something that was on my mind. I didn’t know who to give them to but I always signed them ‘His Kid, Your Brother’ and it is in this tone that I wish to continue writing as I seek to share what God has done and what I believe He wants to do today in the body of Christ, the Church.
Thank you for taking the time to stop here. A few years ago the Lord called me away from the things that defined me and brought security to me. He asked me to be available to Him with 100% of my time. I answered “yes” and resigned from my career in October of 2021 to follow him. It is truly a walk of faith. I have a deep heart for the fatherless and for the generation of young people today who are the Church of today and tomorrow. I am very concerned that we, the Church, become the true Bride of Christ and really fall in love with Jesus so that His Kingdom will come to earth as He intended.
I pray that God will bless you richly and spark in you a hunger to know Him, not for what He can do, but for who He is, the person Jesus Christ.
